Although in a state of extreme desiccation - it had started to sprout vigorously, the shoots plump and full of life.The more I thought about it, the more miraculous the plants tenacity for life seemed. I then wondered if an insect that ate only this plant would too be imbued with the same miraculous energy?The ants, fat, golden and obviously confident are covered in gold leaf.
