Two cats
I used to be one of those people who prefer dogs to cats however, due to circumstances entirely beyond my control, I have over the last few years inherited four cats. Much to my surprise I now find I much prefer them to their smellier counterparts and continue to be amazed what good company and how giving- on their own terms of course- they are.

Here I have tried to portray two of my menagerie, Freddie and Pyewakkit. Freddie is the dominant one here, a bold and gentle chap; Wakkit, a small British Blue female, is a grey shadow, self-effacing and demure but a savage mouser. The carving is made from the coronet of a Red Deer and is 2" (5cm) high and wide.
